Mr. Cooper is a well known figure that has been apart of the BG community for 38 years. We decided to interview him and learn more about his unique life.

How long have you been teaching at Bishop Guilfoyle? 38 years.

What made you choose to work at BG? I wanted to teach somewhere that had a faithful education.

When do you plan on retiring? I plan to retire next year, 2018

What do you enjoy doing outside of school? Going to sporting events, and spending time with my kids and grandkids.

What is your favorite BG memory? The pep rally’s in the lunchroom before every sporting event, and when the Senior class of 2012 wrapped my whole room in Christmas wrapping paper.

What is your favorite class you ever taught here at BG? Algebra 1.

Where did you go to high school? Juniata Valley.

What activities and clubs did you participate in when you were in high school? I was involved in student council and a class officer.

Where did you go to college? Shippensburg University.
