The BG Boys Basketball team is still hungry, even after a dramatic loss to the Bishop McCort Crushers at the buzzer in the D6 AA Championship game. Senior Luke Frederick mumbled after the game “We just can’t leave a kid that can shoot like that open.” The Marauders still have some unfinished business to take care of as they face the McConnellsburg Spartans out of District 5 on Saturday, March 11th at the Altoona Fieldhouse at 5:30 p.m. Senior Josh Trybus said “The game plan is to just get the ball to our shooters and to get every rebound, I mean every.” Josh was 4-7 from behind the three point line, while Luke Ruggery was 6-10. The Marauders will be given the task of slowing down Spartan point guard Chase Novak who is averaging around 20 points per game. The Marauders look to make a run in the state playoffs despite the tragic loss in the District Championship. The road to Hershey starts this Saturday.
